Afloat Coffee Roaster, Bukit Jalil

[Pork-free] Drink coffee and stay afloat. Afloat Coffee Roaster in Bukit Jalil is one of our recent favourite café visits due to the friendly owner-baristas, excellent coffee, and a lovely space overlooking the leafy views of the neighborhood park.

We attempted to visit this cafe back in May when it first opened – but had to “abort mission” due to the crowd.

Now that the hype has died down (yay!), we finally managed to snag seats on the balcony for a lovely view of the park.

Extensive selection of roasted coffee beans

Afloat offers an extensive selection of its own-roasted coffee beans for both filter and espresso.

Our preference for fruity coffee was fully satiated by the “Unique” espresso offering of Buf Nyarusiza from Rwanda – processed via 96-hour fermentation and sun-dried on raised beds.

The Rye Sourdough Toast with Tomato Soup (RM17) was a worthy companion for a light bite on a Saturday afternoon.

Afloat also serves bagels, matcha, and chocolate drinks.
