Asylum Coffeehouse in Bangsar
[Pork-free] Coffee addicts can find refuge at the newly-opened Asylum Coffeehouse in Bangsar.
Located on Jalan Kemuja, this is the first Malaysian outpost for the Singapore micro-roaster.
Asylum Coffeehouse hails from Singapore

Asylum Coffeehouse offers a wide array of in-house roasted coffee – from the signature Keluak blend, to more experimental beans such as the Castillo beans, which were aged in rum barrels for 20 days.

The Castillo was indeed our favourite during our visit here – with a vibrant rum-like mouthfeel, and hints of dark chocolate.

The filter can be paired with pastries, and soft cookies sourced from Penang-based Kheng Cookies. The Matchadamia Cookie was delicious.

Service here was excellent, and we appreciate their recommendations that suit our palate.
