NEW in Tropicana Gardens Mall (TGM)!!
We were in TGM last week and saw that Chizu/Honzu had opened! Even though it was close to dinner time, we couldn’t help ourselves and ordered two croissants – one sweet and one savoury.
Garlic Cream and Golden Hazelnut
Golden Hazelnut (RM6.50) – Croissant topped with choc and crunchy bits, with hazelnut cream filling. We enjoyed this – it was quite indulgent with nice cornflake-ish crunch bits and it wasn’t too sweet.
Garlic Cream (RM6.50) – Aromatic garlic cream filling (with some bits on the top) so we can really appreciate the croissant texture.
Overall, we were quite pleased with the croissants. We later found out that Chizu is known for its drinks topped with frothy Japanese cheese. Well, next time perhaps.
The place looks really nice to chill and hang out with friends. They also have food items on their menu.
