Chula Pork Leg
[Non-halal] Khao Ka Moo (stewed pork knuckle) is our favourite Thai dish ever, and somehow the ones in KL just cannot compare.
ขาหมูจุฬา Chula Pork Leg in Bangkok serves an amazing KKM. We stumbled upon this when we were in the area and were immediately attracted by the big pot of braised pork, as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant.

Prices here start at THB40 for Stewed Pork Knuckle with Rice – but we got the one with knuckle, intestines and egg (THB60) for a more complete dish.

The pork knuckle was tender and flavourful, and the skin/fat had the luminous gelatine quality that’s the perfect yin to the meat’ yang.

The egg was slightly overcooked – but it was a minor thing when the rest of the dish was this good.
Despite having a full meal elsewhere, we had no problem finishin the pork with the rice, mustard greens and green chilli condiment.
KKM for life! RECOMMENDED!
