Daily Homemade Noodle House SS3
[Non-halal] Daily Homemade Noodle House is a new restaurant located in SS3, PJ.
While this restaurant is new in this area, this is actually the seventh branch operated by the group.
In fact, Daily Homemade Noodle House originated from Seremban and is popular for its pork lam noodles and homemade fish balls.
This is the second outlet in Klang Valley, aside from the one it opened in Taman Yulek in 2023.

The most unique offering here has to be the Pork Lam Noodles aka chee lam fun (RM10) which is a specialty in Seremban.
While it resembles the popular Seremban dry beef noodles, the dish contains no beef and features pork as its main protein.

The dry noodles are served in a thick sauce, and topped with roasted peanuts, mustard greens, sesame seed and pork slices. The recommended noodle of choice is lai fun – but you can also opt for lou shu fen, wantan mee and hakka mee.

Give the ingredients a good mix to yield a bowl of delicious noodles with savoury hits from the gravy, a hint of sourness from the mustard greens, and earthiness from the seeds and peanuts. It’s not too salty, and the accompanying chilli condiment gives it an extra spicy kick.
The pork slices were quite substantial – and were on the leaner side.
Homemade Fishball Noodles and Hor Fun

Ming preferred the Fishball Noodles (RM10) over the Pork Lam Noodles. She found the broth to be quite flavourful with just the right amount of saltiness, and the homemade fish balls had a good supple bounce.

While not a Seremban dish, the Prawn and Shredded Chicken Hor Fun (RM10.50) cleared the bar of expectations. The soup had a good chicken savoury base, with decent prawn-y hits from the oil. The hor fun was slippery and smooth, and the prawns were fresh and succulent.

We also thought the Kopi was fragrant with enough charcoal aroma, and the Fried Wantans (90 sen) were crispy with decent filling.
Conclusion

Yes – we will return and also try the other dishes on the menu.
