[Halal] Oh hai, daging salai!
The Daging Salai Masak Lemak (smoked beef in coconut gravy) here is so yummy! The smoked beef is so flavourful and the smokiness actually seeps into the lemak gravy!
Daging salai masak lemak
As such, the creamy, thick gravy is so good when eaten with rice.
And it’s really affordable too! For only RM10, it comes with rice, ikan masin (salted fish), cucumber, sambal and drinks!
Iitk salai masak lemak
They also offer Itik Salai Masak Lemak (smoked duck in coconut gravy), however I find that the duck is not smoky enough compared to the beef.
There were also not much meat for mine. Hence, I definitely prefer the daging.
Asam pedas daging tetel
My friend enjoyed her Asam Pedas Daging Tetel (RM10 with the set). The sour and spicy notes are perfectly balanced and the beef was tender.
Sambal ikan keli Sambal ikan cencaru
My friends also enjoyed their Sambal Ikan Cencaru and Sambal Ikan Keli (both also RM10 with rice, cucumber and ikan masin).
Besides daging salai, they also offer sup kambing, and ikan kembung sambal tumis.
D’Salai is under the catering arm of Felda – and this outlet is located within the compound of Dewan Perdana Felda near UTM KL. We like the open space and it was surprisingly very nyaman (cool) with enough shade to shield us from the sun.
