Être Patisserie in KL
[Pork-free] Être Patisserie, a popular French bakery in Ipoh has opened a new branch in KL.
The latest outpost is located in 188 Suites by Namastay, which is just a short stroll from KLCC.

We applaud the service here – with warm smiles and welcoming demeanour from every member on the floor.
Also, top marks for the decoration – whimsical with its pastel pink hues and a huge counter island where all the goodies are displayed.
Very tasty, very demure
We tried three pastries and one sweet dessert.
All the pastries we tried were satisfyingly flaky with the right buttery hit.
The Brownie Croissant had the addition of brownie in the middle which gives an extra dimension to the usual chocolate filling.
The Ham and Cheese Croissant were satisfyingly savoury with soft ham rolled with cheese in the middle.
Also, the Pain Au Pistachio hits the spot with a good balance of nuttiness and sweetness from the cream.
But the crown has to go to the Mango (RM29) – mango cream blended with lychee and passion fruit pulp for a mildly sweet and acidic flavour, encased in hard chocolate to look like a real mango fruit.
The coffee is excellent too. The hot long black is comparable to one you’ll find at a specialty coffee bar.
