[Pork-free] After many years of being on our bookmark list, we finally made our way to Ghostbird Coffee Company.

Ghostbird Coffee is one of the more acclaimed coffee roasters in town, and they offer a great selection of beans here – from single origin for pour-overs, to blends meant for espresso.

Ghostbird Coffee is located in Seputeh, which is adjacent to Midvalley. It occupies a bungalow lot with rustic qualities – with a section for retail, and a space for dine-in.

Ghostbird offers a great selection of coffee beans to take home. Find coffee beans fermented with tapai yeast from Sabah to its Milkyway Classic Blend for a full-bodied espresso.

We enjoyed our cup of Ranau Sabah – which has a lovely acidic punch.

The sesame cake here was good company – light and moist with surprising layer of mochi for extra texture.

Ghostbird offers samples of the coffee beans on sale – so you can make a more informed choice before taking home a bag.

There’s also four different types of water on tap, which are used to make the coffee, and they can be enjoyed on their own.

There’s also a pop-up ramen bar here offering sustenance of a different kind. For man shall not live by coffee alone.
