Grub by Ahong and Friends, PJ

No better way to say I love you, than wagyu. 

For our special dinner last night, we ordered steaks from Grub by Ahong Friends.

My gosh, they were so juicy and tender! Both steaks arrived wrapped in tin foil in a small pool of juices. We had ours medium rare – and both were done perfectly with enough blood and touch of pink. 

Max enjoyed his Wagyu NY Strip MB01 (RM85.00 for 300g) as it was beautifully tender and not too fatty. 

Ming also enjoyed her Angus Flanksteak (RM55.50 for 300g). It is definitely juicier than the NY Strip but can get a bit chewy at some parts. 
Both cuts were flavourful and seasoned perfectly.

 Our steak came with two sauces (one mustard-y and tangy, and the other made from bone broth, we guesstimate) as well as sides of potato salad and greens. 

We added Bashmathi Lemon Herb Rice (RM4) which was flavourful and fragrant; and Yorkshire Pudding (RM3.70).

Honestly, the steak tasted almost as good when eating at the restaurant. They remained juicy and didn’t dry out. Yums!
