Happy Stan at Republik Damansara Heights is a cozy place that offers coffee during the day, and cocktails at night.

The name is inspired by ‘Stan’, short for Stanton Delaplane, who was a travel writher that intoroduced Irish Coffee to the owner of Buena Vista Cafe in 1952.

Flip through their menu and you’ll find coffee-based cocktails such as Happy Black Tonic (RM32) – Mr Black Cold Brew coffee liqueur, London Essence Co. classic tonic, fresh lime peel; and Stan’s Love Adonis (RM40) – Cocoa Husk sous-vide Belvedere pure vodka, house blend sherry, Cascara sous-vide Mancino Rosso ambrato, Nanyang coffee.

As it during the day, we opted for Flat White (RM12) and their pastries –Banana Loaf (RM8) and Hazelnut Raspberry Frangipane (RM15). Coffee’s good and the pastries were nice – I like that they were not overtly sweet.
