[Non-halal] Hide & Seek Coffee is probably the most eclectic cafe we visited in PJ.
True to its name, you would really need to seek out the cafe as there are no signposts indicating its existence. Just look for lot 33A.
Hide and Seek Coffee in Paramount Garden PJ
The furniture and decor here might seem like a hodgepodge of styles, but it really reminded us of the the art-deco-inspired Memphis Design of the 80s.
The pop of colours and abstact patterns aside, the service here is good from the friendly owner.
Our Black Tonic (RM15) – comprising espresso and tonic water – was the perfect tonic (aha!) for a particularly hot day (feels like most days now innit?).
The Mojito Sponge Cake (RM15) is an amalgamation of traditional and new with its used of classic sponge cake, agar-agar and monty cream on top.
The booze is in the agar-agar.
