[Halal] Jibby by the Park is probably the prettiest restaurant in town.

We really enjoyed the wide-open space and greenhouse-inspired interior with natural light and fauna. Our favourite spot has to be the moss cabinets and terrarium tables in collaboration with Wunderwall Design and Ohsum Mossum.

While we were lucky to get spots on Saturday night, we advise to make reservations. Despite the 90% capacity – service was efficient and staff were attentive. We got our food 20 minutes after making our order.

Jibby’s Moussaka Lasagna (RM35) was comfort food – putting a spin on the Italian dish with Mediterannean-inspired ingredients. The touch of basil sauce is lovely.

The BBQ Lamb (RM45) was good for the price – three generous cuts of NZ lamb shoulder that is tender, juicy and beautifully caramelised. It comes with hash, onion and peas.

As part of the Serai group, food quality is assured. Pizzas, brunch food, and Asian dishes are on the menu too.

There were plenty of birthday celebrations when we were here – it is indeed a good spot for dates, special occasions and get-togethers with friends and family.
