We love the open space at Kings Hall Cafe – a new coffee place tucked within the light industrial area of Section 13, PJ.

In fact, this new cafe occupies what used to be a music studio (you can spot an old console mixer in the premise).

While we like the big windows with natural light pouring in and white walls, the coffee’s still the main highlight here!

• 

We opted for the Brew of the Day (RM10) featuring Columbia Luis beans – which was very light and easy to drink. Other beans were also available with options for espresso and siphons.

Wife had the Red Espresso (RM11) – made from rooibos with no caffeine. Expect a fuller mouthfeel compared to the normal rooibos made with teabags at home..

We enjoyed the freshly-made Apple Crumble Waffle (RM18) – perfect crunchy crust with apple crumble bits and vanilla ice-cream.

Toothless Coffee Roaster is also based here – sit at the counter for a full view of the coffee roaster machine with the beautiful buttery scent of roasted beans in the air.
