Midorie x The Owls Cafe, MyTOWN

Famous for their waffles, the Owls Cafe from Bukit Jalil has opened an outlet in MyTown.  We’ve been to their original outlet, and found their waffles to be among the best in Klang Valley. 

This time around, we ordered the Rebecca (RM19) and Midori (RM23).
The freshly-made waffles are fluffy on the side with a nice crispy exterior.   
Rebecca is waffle topped with berries,bananas, coconut and almond flakes, and drizzled with maple syrup. The kicker though is the earl grey tea ice-cream – creamy, rich and full of earl grey flavour that goes well with the acidic berries and warm waffles.

Midori comes with two scoops(!) of ice-cream – sesame and coconut flavours. The matcha flavours of the waffle is toned down with peels of mandarin oranges, red bean cream and pistachio bits.
