[Pork-free] We’re back at SSU Kelab Aman with a bigger group, so can order more! #ehtamaknya (See our previous post on this place here.)
Honestly, everything is good here but my personal favourites have to be the Prawn Masala and Mutton Briyani.
Prawn masala Mutton briyani
The former is cooked perfectly with succulent prawns in flavourful and mildly, spicy gravy. As for the briyani, the basmathi is soft and fluffy and super flavourful. More importantly, the mutton is tender.

Our usual orders here are also the Butter Chicken (creamy!), Palak Paneer (always!), Chicken Briyani (not as tender as mutton but still delicious), Bhindi Masala, and Garlic Naan. And I always finish with Brewed Coffee or Masala Tea.

So, the official name of this restaurant is Restoran Hasheel Sidhu, and it is located within the cricket ground of Kelab Aman. You need to google Kelab Aman to get here.
This place is a real hidden gem, and you’ll usually find Punjabi uncles here just chilling and talking about cricket (among other stuff la). I mean, there is a huge map of Punjab and classical paintings adorning the walls. And you know that the floor is ready for some Punjabi dance at night.
Good food and a quite ambiance – this is still a favourite lunch spot for me and my colleagues.
