We’re creatures of habit. After pandan layer cake (see previous post here), we always singgah sini (stop by here) for coffee.
Great coffee, cakes, old school feels, and plenty of flora – what’s not to like? We usually go for their hand-brew or espresso – but we were feeling a bit adventurous and opted for their special concoctions.
Five (not the 90s boyband)
Five (RM18) is made with espresso, lavender, dates honey, kombucha with sprinkles of cinnamon. The result is a truly refreshing drink – a bit of kick from espresso with the bitterness tempered with the sweetness and tanginess of the kombucha, lavender and honey.
Iced Matcha
This is not to discount classics like the Iced Matcha (RM13) – made with organic matcha from Kawane, Japan. It is very smooth and best enjoyed in the sweltering heat.
Other drinks in the menu: Rose Iced Drip Coffee, Golden Phoenix (coffee with citrusy notes), and cocoa drinks made with local beans sourced from Tanjung Sepat.
