[UPDATED IN JULY 2024] [Pork-free] – Spacegrey is probably one of the best spots in PJ for matcha.
The cafe in SS2 had a facelift since we last visited four years ago. Aside from coffee, Spacegrey also now offers matcha/houjicha drinks and daifuku.
The cafe is also now the homeground for Apple Fish Cake’s Katsudon and Gyozas.

We enjoyed the warm and friendly service here from the crew. They had such a chirpy and positive attitude, which really made our day.
Both the Dirty Matcha (RM17) and Matcha (RM17) were really enjoyable – rich and thick with umami. The former had the extra kick from coffee!
The Chicken Gyoza (RM12) were delicious too, and the Matcha Daifuku (RM9) did not disappoint.

[Pork-free] Located above Crimpers in SS2 (PJ-ians, you KNOW if you know), Space Grey shares a space (hehe) with the charming FLORALREEF florist.
Menu’s limited to coffee and cookies at the moment, but Space Grey is hoping to offer more seats when it expands by year-end.

My White (RM6-8 with oat milk option) was lovely but the highlight has to be the Coffee Juice (RM11) – a special concoction of secret ingredients. The juice is kinda fruity with a nice, soft acidity – so it’s refreshing instead of heavy. It’s kinda like coffee tonic without the fizz.
They also offer Cocoa Milk, Matcha Milk and Coffee Milk in bottles (RM40 for 4 including the juice).Come for the coffee; chat with the barista/owner, and enjoy the fresh blooms.
He just moved his business closer to home here in PJ from his previous spot in Bukit Jalil. Welcome home!
