[Halal] Cheap! Spicy! Delicious!
3 Budak Gemok is bang for the buck. This plate costs only RM10 – RM8 for the ayam kicap, RM1 for the additional egg/tempeh and RM1 for the drink.

According to my friends, Tiga Budak Gemok usually serves the ayam kicap and the sambal mixed. So we were really happy that they were separated at this branch at Gurney Mall, KL. This way, we could really taste the ayam kicap.

Chicken was freshly fried and we enjoyed the thick and caramelised kicap manis sauce cooked with onions.
The accompanying cili gesek is really potent – made up of 3 different types of cili padi. Kalau suka pedas, you’ll enjoy this a lot.

Besides ayam, they also serve daging kicap. There are 13 branches – we went to the Gurney Mall branch which was comfortable with many tables (food court style) for dining. This branch is quite popular with university students as it is just next to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia KL.
