[Pork-free] Crackpots Coffee Roaster has found a new home in USJ1 – offering specialty coffee beans for home brewing, and a new retail space for sipping on site.

We were definitely spoilt for choice with over 18 beans available for filter coffee on the day our our visit.

The barista’s recommendation for something funky led us to the Colombia Finca El Mirador Catiope Pink Champange Washed (RM23). It was tea-like with a lovely strawberry sweetness on the nose and a sweet finish – perfectly paired with the slice of Chocolate Moist Cake (RM12).

We also took home a fresh bag of whole beans for our homebrew, but drip bags are available here too if you don’t have a filter coffee set-up at home.

The team is super friendly too, and always seem happy to talk about anything coffee-related.
