[Pork-free, lard-free, alcohol-free] Fusion Butter Cake House is one of our favourite things to tapau whenever we’re in Penang.
The brand ventured into the Klang Valley two years ago when it opened a branch in PJ Old Town.
Penang’s Famous Fusion Butter Cake in PJ
We enjoy Fusion’s butter cake for its fluffy yet moist texture, which strikes a nice balance between being too soft and too dense. While it’s made with Australian Anchor butter, the buttery flavour is never overpowering, and we appreciate that it’s not overly sweet.
We’ve been patronising the PJ Old Town outlet since it opened, so we were pleasantly surprised when Fusion Cake House opened a new branch closer to home in Uptown Damansara.
We usually go for the Signature Butter Cake (RM29), though other flavours are available, including Cocoa Zebra (RM31), Matcha Zebra (RM31) and Black Sesame Zebra (RM31).
Fusion doesn’t use any preservatives or flavouring for its products.
