[Halal] Located in the heart of KL, Luciano’s Italian Street Food offers no-frill Roman-style pizza and pasta.
This place is quite popular with the office crowd on weekdays – with only a handful of tables available for lunch. Expect to find a queue here when it opens for business at noon.

Luciano’s Italian Street Food is tucked at the side of Wisma Central, which is just a stone’s throw away from KLCC.
Run by an Italian-Malay Muslim couple, the restaurant specialises in square pizzas, focaccia and hearty pasta.
Led by Sardinia-born chef Cristian Luciano Spera, the pizza dough are freshly baked daily before they are finished in the oven with your favourite toppings.
Find customary pizza offerings such as the Margherita (RM14.50) and Quattro Formiaggi (RM19.50), or go for the specials such as the Dendeng Delight (RM24.50) and Luciano’s (RM25).
Pepperoni Diavola
We checked out this place with Max’s colleague who worked nearby. We ordered the Pepperoni Diavola (RM22) and two pasta dishes to share.
The pizza crust had a nice crisp – but did not err on the side of being too thin or burnt. There were elements of airiness and chewiness as well, which provided a good base for the tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.
The beef pepperoni had just a hint of spiciness with freshness from peppers, onion and red chillies. Overall, we were pleased with the pizza.
Beef Bolognese and Aglio Olio
The pasta are rotated as daily specials here, and can be found on the board. Both the Beef Bolognese and Aglio Olio Chicken and Mushroom (RM29 each) were homely and hearty – with a generous amount of parmesan and meat to keep us satiated.
Conclusion
Luciano’s Italian Street Food offers authentic Italian fare in a casual setting in the heart of KL. As this cater to the lunch crowd, expect a crowd during peak period.
