Nine Spots for Pan Mee in KL
[Non-halal] We’ve explored numerous pan mee spots across the Klang Valley over the years, and here are nine places we think are well worth checking out.
1. Jeng Pan Mee, SS2 / Subang

One of our regular haunts for pan mee. The traditional bowl features a well-balanced anchovy broth with natural sweetness from sayur manis. We also enjoy their herbal pan mee. Read our post here.
2. Ah Ma Pan Mee, SS2

Originally from Raub, Ah Ma’s hand-cut noodles are served with minced pork and salted mustard greens. Everything here – including the fried shallots – is made from scratch. Something a little different, yet very satisfying. Read our article here.
3. Kung Fu Smooth Pan Mee, Sentosa

This stall is best known for its long, thick noodles with a perfect chew – reminiscent of pappardelle in both thickness and texture. Check out our post here.
4. Jing Zhu Pan Mee, Subang

There are three pan mee shops along the same row in SS29 Subang, but this is our favourite. Both the soup and dry versions are consistently good. Read more here.
5. Lian Heng Pan Mee, USJ1

Tucked away in a quiet corner of USJ1, Lian Heng serves a rich anchovy-based broth paired with fresh sayur manis. Check out our post here.
6. Lim Kee Pan Mee, Cheras

A popular neighbourhood spot, drawing locals for both its dry and soup pan mee. More in this post.
7. Xiu Ye Mao Pan Mee, Jinjang

Open until late, this stall is known for interesting combinations such as curry pan mee paired with loh pan mee. Read more here.
8. San Cun Ban, Happy Garden

A well-loved local spot for mee hoon kueh, known for its good texture and comforting flavours. More in this post.
9. Kah Heong Pan Mee, Puchong

Clean, well-balanced flavours with generous mushrooms and crispy fried anchovies. More in this post.
