[Pork-free] Hej, Kopenhagen kopi satu! We had a lovely time at Kopenhagen Coffee Kapas in Bangsar.
This second outpost by Kopenhagen is located within the Kapas Height Condominium compound in Bangsar.
Kopenhagen Coffee Kapas
We enjoyed our brunch here at Kopenhagen Coffee Kapas – as we sat in a nice open space to enjoy the cool breeze on a cool Saturday morning.
The cafe is also pet-friendly, so we met a few furry friends during our visit as well.
Build your own brunch
Kopenhagen Cofee Kapas offers Scandinavian dishes such as Winter Frikadelller (beef meatballs with mashed potatoes) and Rosenborg Roast Beef – but we were most interested in the “Make your Own Breakfast Board” that’s available all day.
We opted for five dishes (RM30) – comprising a Bagel (+RM2), Scrambled Eggs with Chives, Smashed Avocado with Chilli Flakes (+RM5), Hummus, and Vegan Tempeh Balls.
What we ate
The Bagel was nicely toasted and chewy in a good way, which complemented all of our dishes.
Hummus was nutty and buttery, and we liked that the Smashed Avocado was not overly mushed to provide some texture. The chilli flakes were a nice addition to the avocado.
The Scrambled Eggs were decent and adequately seasoned with chives and salt. However, we thought the Tempeh Balls were a bit dry.
Summary
Overall, we found the food at Kopenhagen Coffee Kapas to be decent, but the space is very much the main attraction for us. The service is wonderful too.
