Offerings include the Porky Classic Burger (pork patty, cheese lettuce, tomato, carrots, cabbage, caramelised onions, pickled green chilli, special sauce), Spicy Boom (patty with added chilli padi) and Mother Porken ( a combination of deep fried chicken thigh, pork patty and bacon).
For those who don’t wanna “pork out”, Sneaky Burger also offers the Vegelante Burger which features a portobello mushroom patty, while the Chick Magnet is stuffed with deep-fried chicken thigh.
Sneaky Burger also offers pasta, lasagna and salad.
Sides include fries, Sneagets (pork nuggets), onion strips, and crispy siew yoke.
Sneaky Burger’s Porky Gourmet Burger
Ming opted for the Porky Gourmet Burger set (RM22.90) – which comes with small fries and canned drinks.
The Gourmet is basically the same as the Classic Burger with the addition of fried egg and streaky bacon (how can we resist?).
The classic burger hits all the right spots. The pork patty is thick, moist and flavourful. It had a very homely taste – like it was made in a friend’s kitchen and grilled in the backyard.
We loved that the bacon strips were not greasy at all, and were not overcooked until hard and dry. The bacon and special sauce really complemented the patty without overpowering its inherent flavour. The egg with the melted yolk just sealed the deal for us. The buns were soft as well.
Sneaky Back-Stab Burger with triple bacon!
Max decided to go with the Back-Stab Burger (RM25.90 for the set) – which basically comes with TRIPLE BACON, gherkins in addition to the usual filling in a charcoal bun.
Overall, the taste was pretty similar to the Gourmet except for the extra bacon strips which are always welcome. The burger is on the drier side due to the lack of egg, but this allowed us to really taste the juicy patty more.
We ordered fries and onion strips as our sides, which were decent.
Summary
Sneaky Burger is worth checking out if you’re craving porky burgers in PJ.
The patties were made and cooked well, and the ensemble really hit the spot for us. We also liked that they serve beer here, with plenty of options on the menu for those who don’t like pork.
We’ll return to check out their other burgers and the Sneagets.
