[Pork-free] Monday but still wishing it’s Sunday.
This cafe has always been on our radar – so we were happy to check it out on a Monday.
Tamagoyaki sando
I really enjoyed the Tamagoyaki Sando (RM18). The rolled omelette was a lovely golden pillow – soft and custardy with a bit of sweetness. It was perfectly encased in batter and white bread, with a hint of sweetened wasabi. It’s both picture-perfect and tasty!
Sunday’s version of Shakshuka (RM22) is comfort food – chicken-tomato stew with bits of capsicum, onion and poached eggs. It comes with two slices of homemade sourdough.
French toast
French Toast (RM19) was equally delectable – two pillow-soft thick toast served with a melody of cut fruits, cream and syrup.
We like that all their bread are made in-house (you can watch the staff working the dough away).
Cheese terrine cake
The Cheese Terrine Cake (RM12) looks sexy but we found it a bit too sweet to our liking. Coffee’s good here.
Overall, we enjoyed the food and the chill ambiance – with plenty of flora to soothe the soul (and food to fill the tummy).
