[Pork-free] Sun’s out, coffee’s out at Third Mile Café.
We really enjoyed the ambiance at Third Mile Café in Rivercity, off Jalan Ipoh.

The bright open space allowed for plenty of natural light to brighten the café, with accents from light wood finishes.
Third Mile Cafe off Jalan Ipoh
Third Mile Cafe offers plenty of freshly-baked goods and main dishes – but we were only there for coffee and cakes.
Carrot Cake
If you like traditional carrot cakes with lots of nuts, carrots, and dried fruits – you’ll love the one here.
For RM12 a slice, they were really generous with the ingredients. More importantly, the cake was moist and we like the zesty cream on top.

Orange Cinnamon Latte
Given it was a hot day, Max opted for the Orange Cinnamon Latte (RM16) – a concoction of double espresso shots, sundried orange, and cinnamon.
The drink was refreshing with a subtle touch of cinnamon and zesty fragrance from the sundried orange.
The beef burger is juuuuicy!
Our dear friend recommend the burger here -and it was truly amazing!
The Beef Deluxe burger (RM38) features one of the juiciest and fattiest patties in town.
The burger is unbelievably juicy as the patty is cooked as a katsu (breaded in panko). Hence, it retained the juices and flavours inside!
The burger is then topped with some lovely crispy onion and honey mustard truffle aioli in between soft brioche buns.
The only complaint we have is that the patty is slightly on the saltier side. That aside, the flavours work well, and the juicy patty is exceptional! The accompanying shoe-string fries were done well too.
Eggplant Shakshouka
We found the Eggplant Shakshouka (RM27) to be on the spicier side, but the cherry tomatoes and onion relish helped to douse the heat.
The dish typically comes with sourdough on the side, but we opted for the brioche (which we like, because it is very soft and fluffy).
We’ve also tried their pasta and rice bowls in the past, which were quite decent.
A lovely place to chill
If you’re looking for a place to chill out with friends, we can’t recommend this place more.
The place is bright and comfortable, with plenty of baked goods and main meals served.
