V88 Starhill Gallery, KL

[Pork-free] V88 Starhill Gallery is located inside the new eslite spectrum bookstore in KL.

Taiwanese bookstore eslite spectrum just opened its first branch in Starhill Gallery last week – and we must say, the store is well-stocked and impressive.

There are several cafes/restaurants/bars located within eslite – including Taiwan’s Come True Coffee, The Bean Brothers’ Expresso Bar and The Messengers by JWC.

Located in the store is also V88’s newest branch – offering pasta, burgers, yakitori, rice bowls, coffee and cocktails.

We enjoyed the Classic Cheese Beef Burger (RM32) by V88 Starhill – made with house grind Aussie chuck tender for a balanced portion of lean & fat, caramelised onion and yellow cheddar.

Patty was juicy with bits of gherkin for a bit of “heat” and the buns were soft and coloured with a shade of red from the addition of beetroot.

Our Apple Iced Coffee (RM15) was refreshing with espresso as the base, and sweet highlights from green apple and mint.

V88 also offers one of the best view of Pavilion KL’s main entrance from the balcony.
