[Muslim-friendly] On the way to Johor Bahru, we made a pit-stop at Yard & Co – a lovely café by the sea in Pengerang, Johor.
Yard & Co by the sea
It was busy on a Saturday afternoon – so we just opted to sit outside. It was not unbearably hot due to lovely breeze from the South China Sea.
Coffee, food and sea
Coffee Mojito (RM13.50) was refreshing on a hot day.
Despite the name, the concoction does not contain alcohol, but it is a mix of espresso and lime juice, with a touch of rosemary leaves.
The Pu’er Tiramisu (sans alcohol, as well) for RM18.90, was light but we didn’t taste the pu’er though.
The Caramel Vanilla cake (RM14) was alright in our books.
Overall, a nice spot for coffee and dessert. They also serve brunch, rice bowls, noodles and other main food items. Do prepare to wait as people were constantly trickling in when we were there.
