“A sip of coffee
in a quaint Chinese village
home – heart is at ease.”
– a ThokohMakan haiku
[Non-halal] Yue Coffee is one of the most charming cafes we’ve been. An old Chinese New Village home that’s converted into a drinking hole with bright open windows and rustic wooden furnishes.
This place reminds me of my grand-uncle’s home in Pontian Kecil. There’s even a super friendly aunty serving us that day.
We enjoyed the Lemonade – refreshing on a hot day, and the coffee’s good. The Matcha Roll was delicious too – lovely matcha cream rolled in soft, fluffy sponge cake.
Come here for the coffee, cake and craft beer and stay for the chill vibes. They also serve “pop-up” beer snacks on weekends – crispy siu yuk, chicken gyoza and Swedish meatballs had made appearances.
While they serve pork dishes, the cafe had noted that it uses different plates and cutlery for its pork dishes.
