[Muslim-friendly] Aftermeal Desserts had always been after-thought for us.
But after seeing so many people layaning the franchise, we decided to revisit it after so many years.
This branch in SS2 seems quieter than the one in Damansara Uptown as well.

Herbal Grass Jelly
This Herbal Grass Jelly (RM20) was quite refreshing on a hot day. The herbal jelly on top of the shaved ice was quite fragrant and herbally.
The accompanying Gula Melaka Cream was also thick and creamy with sufficient hint of Gula Melaka flavour.
We were also pleased with the taro balls and boba – as they were served warm with a good consistency.
Overall, this was good for those who prefer their dessert to be not too sweet.
Iron Lady Classic Milk Tea Kakigori
A week later, we checked out the Aftermeal Desserts branch in Damansara Utama and ordered their best-seller – Iron Lady Milk Tea Kakigori (RM24).
This was lovely as well. We enjoyed the subtle tea flavour, which reminded of Teh Tarik but in a shaved ice version. The shaved ice was soft in texture, and went well with the red beans, grass jelly, and red beans.
