[Non-halal] Da Niu Bake Pie大牛烧饼 in SS2 our new favourite spot for late-night dessert.
Da Niu is known for its Chinese pancake or Guō Kuī 锅盔, which are flat pies with filling that are baked inside a “tandoor” oven.

Savoury tongues come here for the Mui Choy Pork Bake Pie (RM10) pie but our favourite is the Red Bean Bake Pie (RM8). The pies are thin and flaky (expect to make a mess) and we enjoy the generous sweet red bean filling.
The Otak-Otak Pie (RM12) is pretty good too if you like a bit of spice.
We also enjoy the tong sui here. Our picks are the Red Bean with Orange Peel (RM7), Barley Fuzhok (RM7) and Mango Pomelo Sago (RM10.80). They are all made with natural ingredients are particularly fragrant. We advocate adding dou hua to the Barley Fuzhok.
Da Niu also serves savoury dishes such noodles and soft serve.
