Orrrn Oleun 오른 in Jeju
[Pork-free] If you’re travelling to Jeju in South Korea, you have to check out Orrrn or Oleun 오른 Café.
Located at North-east side of the island (and closer to Seongsan Ilchulbong), this cafe is named after oreum – a Korean term to describe hills that exist inside a volcano crater.

This is exemplified by its architecture that was designed to resemble the oreums on the island, with its concrete walls and strategic curves that pay homage to the natural characteristics of the former volcanic island.
The cafe offers an amazing view of the deep blue seas as you indulge in the pastries and drinks offered here.

We enjoyed the Jeju Corn Pie (KRW8,500) – a pastry that featured the natural sweet kernels of Jeju corn on top of flaky pastry.
The Croffle (KRW4,500) was also excellent and is served with a duo of red bean and sweet bean paste.
If you’re lucky, you might catch the Hallabong juice here when in season.
