We checked out Satuu for our first proper coffee spot to dine in after lockdown.
Inhabiting the open space of a corner terrace house, Satuu serves outstanding coffee with attentive and friendly service.

Satuu coffee, shaken please!
Shakerato Bianco
The recommended Shakerato Bianco (RM13) – espresso shaken with ice and mixed with heavy cream instead of milk – was the perfect antidote to the scorching weather. The cream provides for a more velvety and smooth mouthfeel – but not too heavy until we feel jelak. Great stuff!
Whatever beans they used (we forgot to ask), they were perfect for the cuppa – floral, mildly acidic with no acrid bitterness.
Hence, our Hot Latte (RM8) was enjoyable too.
We actually enjoyed our Shakerato and walnut brownie at the premise, before we decided to order the latte for takeaway. The coffee is friendly to the pocket too.
Satuu – a shelter from the scorching sun
Seats are limited with only a tent to shield the coffee bar (and us) from the tropical sun – so we recommend coming to tapau, or when the weather is more forgiving if you wanna linger. We sat for about 30 minutes enjoying our coffee and a slice of their Walnut Brownie (RM9).

Love the coffee and service – can’t wait to see them grow!
