Good News Pizza
[Non-halal] We were pleasantly surprised by Good News Pizza.
Sure, we had very little expectation walking into the restaurant on Jalan Petaling, but the pizza and pasta we ordered were really good.

Good News Pizza specialises in wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, and we like that the crust here is not too soft or chewy.
The Chorizo Cular Iberico (RM55) was perfectly cooked, topped with a generous amount of slightly charred chorizo slices and arugula leaves. The smoky, savoury chorizo paired really well with the freshness of the generous amount of arugula.
The Rigatoni al Ragu Moderno (RM50) is served “deconstructed”, but what stood out was the beef ragu. It is one of the most protein-dense versions we’ve had, with generous streaks of beef throughout. The addition of king oyster mushroom was the pièce de résistance, adding a nice peppery umami and texture that helped cut through the richness of the ragu.
Service here was excellent too.
Yes – this might just be our new favourite pizza spot if it maintains this level of consistency. We’ll be back.
