Three popular spots for pasta in London
[Non-halal] We tried three popular pasta spots during our recent trip to London.
1. Bancone, Covent Garden
The Silk Handkerchiefs here are to die for. Thin sheets of pasta are folded to resemble soft silk fabric and lusciously coated with Parmesan beurre blanc, walnut and confit egg yolk. We also enjoyed the tuna tartare.

2. Manteca, Shoreditch
The Tonnarelli Brown Crab Cacio e Pepe pleases with its rich, peppery sauce and deep flavours from the brown crab meat. We also recommend the ‘Nduja Steamed Mussels.

3. Lina Stores, Marylebone
A popular spot for fresh pasta, though we found the dishes rather middling. We did enjoy the Fried Ricotta here.
